What personal information we collect and why we collect it
Forms
Registration of user profile
The user profile allows you to log in to fishmemo.com and is used to recognize you as a unique user of the service and to communicate with you. In the user profile, name, address, e-mail and phone number and nationality are stored.
Catch report
In order to report catches, you must be registered as a guest with a company that has an agreement with Fishmemo. As a registered guest, you will have access to report catches through a simple browser-based form. The form stores your user ID, the name of the company you are reporting for, and the boat used during your stay.
Control Scheme
As a registered guest of a company that has an agreement with Fishmemo, you will have access to completing a check form for the boat that is used during your stay. The control form stores your user ID along with the security statement and any names of passengers registered with the form.
Bemerkungen
When visitors post comments on the page, the information is stored in the comment form in addition to the IP address of the visitor and the visitor’s browser version. This is done to help avoid rogue comments.
An anonymous text string generated from your email address (also called a “hash”) can be sent to the Gravatar service to check if you have an account there. The Gravatar Privacy Statement is located here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After your comment has been approved, your profile picture will be visible to anyone in connection with your comment.
Media
If you upload photos to the site, avoid uploading images that contain information about the place it is taken (EXIF GPS). Visitors to the page can download and retrieve such information from images on the page.
